SOUTH INDIAN FISH MASALA

     

A fish curry so full of flavour, you simply cannot stop eating! Definitely a winter favourite. 3 - 4 servings

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons (30 ml) FISH MASALA

2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil

½ onion, chopped

½ tablespoon (7.5 ml) GINGER (GROUND)

1 tablespoon (15 ml) GARLIC CRUMBLE

2 tablespoons (30 ml) tomato paste

¼ cup water + another ¼ cup water

2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice

1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt

450 – 500g cubed, deboned fish fillets (Kingklip or sole)

½ cup (125 ml) coconut milk

Method:

Tips:

  1. Garnish dish with fresh coriander leaves – if available.
  2. Substitute fish with shrimps or seafood mix for a delicious seafood curry.
