BAKED POTATO WEDGES
It takes a little effort, but these wedges far outshine the chips from
the fisheries! Serves 3 4.
Ingredients:
3 4 potatoes, peeled
1 2 tablespoons (15 30 ml) vegetable oil
3 tablespoons (45 ml) SALT & VINEGAR SEASONING
foil
Method:
- Preheat oven to 220oC. Cover a baking tray with a sheet of foil.
- Cut potatoes in wedges as follows: first cut in half, then in half again to form
quarters; finally halve each quarter to form eighths.
- Combine potatoes, oil and spice in a large freezer bag, and shake thoroughly to coat.
- Arrange wedges on the foil-covered baking tray. Bake low in oven for an hour or until
tender inside and crispy outside.
Tips:
- It you prefer deep-fried chips, cut wedges as usual, but do not shake with oil and spice
instead, deep fry in hot oil and sprinkle with spice afterwards.
- Serve with burgers, fish, steak etc.
