MUSTARD-CHEDDAR STICKS

     

A great snack for guests to nibble on before the main meal, or pop a few in the kids’ lunchboxes. About 25 sticks.

Ingredients:

40 g (6 tablespoons = 90 ml) butter/margarine

¾ cup (180 ml) cake flour

1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt

pinch (1 ml) CAYENNE PEPPER

1 cup (250 ml) grated cheddar cheese

2 teaspoons (10 ml) MUSTARD SEEDS (WHOLE)

Method:

Tips:

  1. Serve with bite-sized vegetables such as carrot, cucumber and cocktail onions.
  2. The dough can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before baking.
