INDIAN CURRY SCHNITZEL

Surprise your family or friends with this savoury, yet mild Indian dish. Wait for the compliments rolling in… 3 - 4 servings

Ingredients:

300 – 400 g Beef schnitzel

3 tablespoons (45 ml) margarine

1 onion, chopped

½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt

1 ½ tablespoons (22.5 ml) SPECIAL INDIAN CURRY

1 ½ tablespoons (22.5 ml) water

2 ¼ cups (560 ml) water

1 ½ tablespoon (22.5 ml) cornflour

1 – 2 teaspoons (5 – 10 ml) lemon juice

2 tablespoons (30 ml) cake flour

1 teaspoon (5 ml) SPECIAL INDIAN CURRY

½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) GARLIC POWDER

salt to taste

3 tablespoons (45 ml) vegetable oil

½ cup (125 ml) flaked almonds

Method:

Tips:

  1. A great time saver: prepare the sauce the previous day and refrigerate. Next day simply warm up in microwave and add the meat.
